The M1 garland improvement plan was made to be used by the U.S. military just before the end of World War II. And after some prototypes the M14 rifle was born. It was deployed to the U.S. Army and Marines since the end of 1961, but in Vietnam where the main part of the Jan Guru war, the long body was replaced by the short length M16. However, it has been obtained a long range and excellent elasticity, and it still serves as a sniper gun.
